Artists have used tile for thousands of years not only to cover floors and walls, but also to add aesthetic interest to the environment. Students have created their own design with this tiny pieces to create their own designs.

Students learned to select and manipulate shapes to develop a pattern in their mosaic design. Choosing a pattern and color scheme were also a part of this challenging project.
